IMPORTANT HEATWAVE NOTICE
Please be advised that The Walpole Hotel does not have air conditioning. Each room is equipped with a fan, and the hotel’s elevated position at the top of the cliffs at Walpole Bay is designed to take full advantage of the natural sea breezes, which under normal conditions provide a comfortable and cooling environment.
However, during periods of exceptional heat, natural ventilation may not be sufficient to maintain cool temperatures throughout the property. Guests who are particularly sensitive to heat or who require air-conditioned accommodation are respectfully advised to consider this before booking, as The Walpole Hotel is unable to accept responsibility for discomfort arising from the absence of air conditioning during unusually warm weather conditions.
We believe our clifftop location and sea views offer an experience that is difficult to match, but we feel it is important that all guests are fully informed before making their reservation.
