The Walpole has 37 en-suite rooms, five of which have two bedrooms, so are ideal for families or groups of friends. We are also a pet friendly hotel as our coastline is a paradise for doggy walks! Each of our rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, an iron, ironing board and hairdryer, telephones with computer ports and satellite TV.

Most of our rooms have balconies, and as Walpole is positioned at right angles to the cliffs every room has stunning, uninterrupted sea views. Thanet is famous for its sun rises and sun sets over the sea as is evidenced by the Turner Centre being opened here, and Walpole Guests have a front row seat everyday! Our friendly and helpful staff are on hand 24 hours a day to cater to your needs and assist where necessary to ensure that you feel that you are home away from home.

24 hour Cancellation Policy

Bookings are secured with a credit card. In the event of a no show or on-day cancellation, the cost of one nights stay will be deducted.

Lost Property

Please be aware that all property left at the hotel that is not claimed within one month will be donated to a charity shop.

Please check in no earlier than 4pm on day of arrival.
Please check out by 11am on day of departure.
